PhotoStory on CD & DVD Deluxe can import dozens of image and video file formats. For images, this includes Windows bitmaps, JPEG, GIF, Zsoft Paintbrush, PNG, Portable Pixmap, Portable Greymap, Adobe Photoshop, Sun Rasterfile, Tragea and Tagged Image File Format (TIFF). For video input, this includes AVI, DV-AVI, Windows Media 9, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and Quicktime. The application also supports RAW formats of over 280 popular camera models and gives you the ability to create high-quality Blu-ray discs with just a few clicks.
Along with images and video, the slideshow software also supports several audio file formats, including Wave, MP3, OGG Vorbis and WMA.
Finished picture slideshows can be published to Video-CD, CD or DVD with accompanying customizable DVD menus. Slideshows can also be published online, displayed or integrated within a website, shared through email or exported to multimedia devices as a video file. In all cases, PhotoStory CD & DVD slideshows can be published in both standard and widescreen aspect ratios. However, in order to export to a format an iPhone or iPod can read, the slideshow software requires an MPEG-4 plugin that costs extra.
